When the trailer was posted, fans assumed Salman had broken his long-standing no-kiss pledge because it featured a silhouette of the on-screen couple kissing. It was eventually discovered that Disha was using a piece of tape over her mouth during the scene.
Disha has now spoken out against the viral phenomenon. Disha was asked if she thought it was funny during a chat with Zoom Digital. Disha said, “I think we, as actors, have to follow the director’s vision, so we do what the role demands of us. But it was a funny experience as he is always joking on the sets and never made it uncomfortable.”
Previously, Salman tackled the situation, joking that instead of duct tape, there would be a “mota parda” (thick curtain) next time. “No, no…maybe next time you’ll see a mota parda (thick curtain) between me and the heroine, but I’m not breaking the no-kissing policy on-screen,” he explained to Zoom TV.
