Diljit Dosanjh has not only winning hearts with his singing and acting skills, but also his heartwarming gestures and being true to himself. In a throwback interview with Sucharita Tyagi for her YouTube channel, the artist revealed that he gave his Lover song to Karan Johar for free.
He expressed that he did not find any interest to charge the filmmaker for the song as he was interested in it. Diljit recalled that he is not friends with any such people, but if they need something and if he can be of help, then what is the point? He added that what actually matter is what a person can do for someone that you know already. He continued that it was nothing like he gave it for free.
Diljit explained that even if KJo had paid him, how much richer would he have gotten. Diljit does not need any more money.
The filmmaker used Diljit’s Lover in Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
