Veteran actor Dilip Kumar‘s younger brother Aslam Khan passed away on Friday morning. He was suffering from diabetes, hypertension and ischaemic heart disease. Dilip’s two younger brothers Aslam and Eshan had complained about breathlessness which is why they were rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where they tested positive for coronavirus.Their oxygen saturation had dropped below 80%. Unfortunately, Aslam took his last breath and died at the age of 88.
Talking to Etimes earlier, doctors told, “They are critical because of their age and comorbidities. Their vital organs are beginning to become a cause of concern.” Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu confirmed the news of their hospitalisation and told the news portal, “They are under treatment of Jalil Parker and Cardiologist Nitin Gokhale. Pray that they should recover well by the Grace of God…AAMEEN.”
Ehsan, on the other hand, is still battling at the age of 90.
