Did Vikas Guppta take a dig at Parth Samthaan’s COVID positive status? Tweets, ‘Wander-Lust Can Wait’

After Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 actor, Parth Samthaan tested positive for COVID-19, Producer Vikas Guppta took to his social media handle and tweeted out several messages emphasising how the younger generation is taking their lives and others life for granted amidst COVID-19 pandemic.

Day after the news of the Bachchan family, including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan, tested positive for COVID-19 broke out on Twitter, Ekta Kapoor’s production Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 actor Parth Samthaan was also tested positive of the virus. The TV actor took it to his Instagram to announce the news and requested all those who were close to him in the last 10 days should get checked as well. Soon after the announcement, producer Vikas Guppta posted a few tweets in light of virus getting closer to everyone each day and how the younger generation is acting carelessly in this pandemic.

Vikas wrote, “It’s extremely selfish just because you are young & #covid won’t kill U doesn’t give you the right to take chances with other people’s lives who works with you & they go home to their kids & parents. Wander-Lust both can wait for few more months #StayHomeStaySafe.” As some of the netizens pointed out profanities in the producer’s tweet, Vikas made some edits and updated his tweets. Meanwhile, even though the producer did not take any names, netizens were quick to judge, and the situation called for another clarification tweet in which Vikas cleared the air by writing, “Idiots who think it’s was a dig at someone can go take a broomstick ride to Nirvaana. Its meant for people to be extremely careful cause that can save lives #Covid19isGettingCloser #StayHomeStaySafe.”

Vikas and Parth share some history in the industry. Earlier, Vikas has also alleged that the actor made him go through hell.
