In keeping with Gaurav Gupta’s latest collection Arunodaya that was exhibited at the ICW 2024 event, fresh faced debutants Vedang Raina and Khushi Kapoor emerged as showstoppers.
Wearing shimmering ensembles which also exemplified their undeniable chemistry, Vedang and Khushi were the highlight of the event or fashion show. The first to walk onto ramp clad in a svelte nutty ivory number, Khushi was wrapped in statement silver embroidery enhanced by a mermaid cut hemline. Accompanied by sheer embroidered sleeves and a delicate train was a sequined bustier that added some elegance to it all. Meeting her on stage for just about a minute, Vedang’s partially sequined all black bandhgala went perfectly with Khushi’s royal look. Before breaking into smiles and stepping forward for a pose they exchanged meaningful glances towards each other briefly then walked down opposite sides of the runway taking the show forward.
So are Khushi and Vedang officially a thing now?
For the longest time, Khushi and Vedang have also been in a so-called ‘thing’, people have been talking about their love life during The Archies and even after that. Despite attending several key events together, none of them has confirmed anything, the most recent being the extravagant wedding celebrations for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Further to this, Khushi was modeling in Gaurav Gupta’s designs for the first time ever which made her a showstopper while Vedang watched from behind. We even had glimpses of him from various ramp rehearsals which they did together. The recent Bollywood trend says that after a joint red carpet appearance, alleged couples’ first ramp debut is normally the next biggest sign towards their presumed relationship status.
