Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra has been discharged from Breach Candy Hospital early this morning at around 7 AM, according to reports. The 89-year-old actor, fondly known as the He-Man of Indian Cinema, has now returned home, where his treatment and recovery will continue under medical supervision.
Sources close to the family confirmed that Dharmendra’s condition has improved significantly, allowing doctors to advise home care for the next phase of his treatment.
The update comes a day after widespread rumours about the actor’s health surfaced online, which were firmly dismissed by his daughter Esha Deol, who clarified that her father was “stable and recovering.”
Earlier today, Hema Malini also urged the media to act responsibly and refrain from spreading misinformation, stating that Dharmendra is responding well to treatment and needs privacy as he recuperates.
Fans and members of the film fraternity have flooded social media with prayers and good wishes for Dharmendra’s speedy recovery.
