Dhanush honours two decades of his film career; Calls fans ‘Pillars of his Strength’

Dhanush pens a moving letter on his Twitter to thank his fans for supporting him for two decades. He says, ‘Never did I even dream I’d come this far’.

Dhanush has completed two decades in the industry today, after appearing in 46 films. Dhanush made his acting debut in the 2002 coming-of-age film Thulluvadho Ilamai, directed by his father, Kasthuri Raja, and hasn’t looked back since. The actor turned to Twitter to express his gratitude to his fans and family for their support.  He wrote, ‘Never did I even dream I’d come this far,’

He also thanked his fans for their support, referring to them as his “pillars of strength.” The Atrangi re actor continued by thanking the media, producers, director, his brother Selvaraghavan, and everyone who has been and continues to be a part of his two-decade journey.

He ended his post with, “I read somewhere that life is what happens when you are busy doing other things. I can’t agree more. Let’s make this one life meaningful. Let’s make it count,”

In the meantime, his next film, Thiruchitrambalam, directed by Mithran Jawahar, will be released on July 1, 2022. Sun Pictures is producing the film, and Anirudh Ravichander is the music director of the film.
