Hrithik Roshan who was last seen in War which emerged as the biggest hit of 2019, is all set to star in Siddharth Anand’s next titled Fighter. Siddharth and Hrithik have previously worked together in the 2014 film, Bang Bang. Now, it is reported that Deepika Padukone has bagged the role of the lead actress in the film opposite Hrithik Roshan.
According to the report by Bollywood Hungama, the film will be announced on Hrithik Roshan’s birthday, 10th January. “While Hrithik Roshan plays the role of an air force officer, the role of Deepika Padukone has been kept under wraps. But both are expected to do loads of action in the film. The film is expected to go on floors in December 2021,” a source revealed.
A trade expert also talked about the film. They said, “This is a very exciting development. For the longest time, fans have been demanding that Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone should team up for a film. And now it’s finally happening. We are sure that their chemistry will be electrifying. This can easily be one of the biggest hits of 2022.”
Meanwhile, 2021 will be a busy year for Deepika. The actress will be seen sharing the screen space with Ranveer Singh in ’83. She also has Shakun Batra’s untitled with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday lined up. She is also part of Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated comeback Pathan.
