Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone always seems to astound her fans with incredible movies. She has aced as an actor with her performances and keeps ruling over many hearts. Deepika entered the cosmetics spectrum in the surge of demand for skincare trends. The actress launched her skincare brand 82E in 2022.

Since its release, the brand has been growing steadily with new additions done every 3 months. 82E has attained a niche audience over a year and tends to fill its customers’ requirements. However, the actress has been considerably trolled for the high prices charged for the products. Despite receiving such hatred, Deepika emphasizes the motive of her brand and how she tests everything before it goes to trial.

During an interview with CNBC-TV, Deepika revealed that if she is selling a product worth Rs 2,500 then she is also applying it every day. Deepika and her team have been consistent in building this brand and have stayed true to their motive. That is the reason their brand has grown successfully in a year and will continue to grow further as well.

The actress even stated, “I am the guinea pig.” She said that she is the one to try every product even before it goes for dermatologist tests or trial tests. She uses the product for a week and sometimes even for months depending on the feedback. The product only gets tested when she gives a green signal.

Speaking about the backlash, Deepika said that trolling is a given in our sector, it’s what we do. And as long as I keep my head down and keep going, as long as we are honest, nothing can go wrong.

On the work front, Deepika was last seen in the blockbuster film Jawan alongside Shah Rukh Khan. She is currently busy shooting for her upcoming film Fighter.
