Director Zoya Akhtar and veteran actress Rekha are neighbours hence Rekha’s guard tested positive for COVID-19, even Zoya’s house is termed as a containment zone. Outside her gate, the BMC has put a containment notice and is now sealed.No individuals are allowed to enter and exit the area as two residents have been tested positive. It is reported that Zoya who lives right next to Rekha and is now cautious after Rekha’s guard and staff have tested positive.
The cases of COVID-19 are increasing rapidly in India and Bollywood stars have been affected too. The most influential Bollywood family, the Bachchans, have 4 out of 5 members who have tested positive a few days ago. Many staff members of celebrities like Aamir Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Karan Johar have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
There have been no further comments or declarations by Zoya Akhtar, but a banner has been placed outside the bungalow by BMC. Here’s wishing Zoya and other members of her house, a safe and healthy quarantine.
