As soon as the government imposed the unlock phase 1, the entertainment industry returned to its regular routine keeping the guidelines and protocols in consideration. The entertainment industry has resumed all the shoots that were ceased due to the outbreak of the worldwide pandemic. However, it seems that Pati Patni Aur Woh actress, Bhumi Pednekar is standing strong on the guidelines given by the government. She has totally denied intimate and romantic scenes until the COVID-19 situation comes to an end. According to the Sonchiriya actress, it’s not just the entertainment business which should resume but other industries should also restart their work, but without forgetting to follow the safety measures.
In a recent conversation with Hindustan Times, Bhumi said, “I don’t know about the implementation of social distancing. We’ll have to wait and watch. On a film set, you have so many people working together. Especially as actors, we are vulnerable. I can’t wear a mask and do a scene. I’m sure dynamics will change. I don’t see myself romancing anyone on the big screen for a while now. Even our storylines will change.”
The actress also mentioned that though safety and security of lives come at the top of the chart, work should resume soon, keeping in mind the livelihood of people based on it.
On the work front, Bhumi Pednekar will be seen in her upcoming film, Alankrita Shrivastava directorial, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare. The film is backed by Ekta Kapoor in post-production and Durgavati helmed by G. Ashok. The film will be starring Akshay Kumar in an extended cameo in the film.
