Ranbir Kapoor recently broke a rule of his own which is to not give any interview unless he is sitting down to promote a film as he sat with Nikhil Kamath for his podcast People by WTF. The actor got candid with the entrepreneur and ever since then he has been trending on the internet. Now, a content creator has been targeted by the actor’s fans, who has been attempting to shame Ranbir for dissing a brand being endorsed by his wife Alia Bhatt.
Ranbir quizzed the host over his footwear, to which he replied that it is an Indian brand and went on to list out its superiority compared to international brands like Gucci and Balenciaga. Ranbir nodded to Nikhil’s statement of Indian brand being better than the international ones.
Sharing this snippet from his interview, Garima Kumar wrote, “Did Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor forget that his wife and Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatt is the global brand ambassador for Gucci?”
However, the netizens did not seem to approve her critique as they argued that the actor is independent of having an opinion of his own.
