Chris Brown claims that he was disinvited from playing in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game due to his past domestic violence incident with ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

The singer took to his Instagram Stories to share screenshots of email he received from the basketball leagues, wherein they talked about coordinating his ‘travel and logistics’ for All-Star weekend, which kicked off Friday in Indianapolis.

In one of email from an alleged representative of the NBA, they shared images of what Chris’ blue uniform would look like as a part of Lil Wayne’s team.

In one of the posts, the singer mentioned that he was asked to play in the league, but was later cancelled and was given the reason of sponsors such as RUFFLES.

“I’m tired of living in the f–king past. I POSTED THE EMAILS SO YALL COULD SEE. The NBA still was tryna get me to come and sit court side.” He continued that he won’t be doing that because “I ONLY GO WHERE IM APPRECIATED.”

Fans took to X to defend Brown against Ruffles and NBA, claiming that the companies have chosen to ban only a certain people.
