In the movie Inkaar, co-starring Arjun Rampal, sexual harassment at workplace has been shown. The actress added, “When I did that film, I didn’t really know what it meant. But over a period of time, the issues (shown in the film) have come to the light lately. Inkaar was an honest film. It focused upon the fact that you can’t stop being a woman, just because you want to be as strong as a man. That thought was so beautiful.”

The actress is quite supportive of woman empowerment. She also opened up on woman safety, and added, “Women, I think are going through a lot in this country, and the figures don’t lie. I think a progressive society is the one in which women feel safe. So, before we call ourselves a progressive country, we must fulfil the most basic thing which is to keep women protected and make them feel safe when they step out.”
