Chehre actress Krystle D’Souza on sharing screen with Amitabh Bachchan : “I cannot even begin to tell you how nervous I was”

Chehre actress Krystle D’Souza describes her experience of working with Big B while speaking to IANS. She was quite nervous but Amitabh Bachchan eased her to calm down.

TV actress Krystle D’Souza is all set to make her debut in Bollywood with her upcoming film, Chehre which is slated to hit the theatres on 27 August 2021. Chehre is directed by Rumi Jaffery who is a well-known director for making comedy films, with Chehre he is entering into the thriller genre for the first time.

Chehre has an ensemble cast of A-listers like Emraan Hashmi, Amitabh Bachchan ,Rhea Chakraborty and character actors like Anu Kapoor, Siddhant and debutant Krystle D’Souza. While talking to IANS Krystle described her experience of sharing the screen with legendary Amitabh Bachchan. For her this was no less than a golden opportunity to work with him, she explained how his whole family is Bachchan Sir’s fans.

Her words were, “I cannot even begin to tell you how nervous I was and it was the first time my mother came along with me for the first day of shooting. Of course, my mother also had a dream to meet Mr Bachchan as we are a family of Bachchan fans. But when I saw him for the first time, that aura that he has, made me so nervous and for a moment I didn’t know how to start the conversation. My eyes were wide open and seeing him…that man with a baritone voice.”

Her nervousness was taken care of by Big B as he made the first talk and made her comfortable. She added, “He walked towards me, and said, ‘Hello Krystle, this is Amitabh Bachchan, it is nice to meet you!’ And then sir smiled. I think that was it for me to realise that he is such a humble and easygoing individual and he is trying to ease me. Since then, I really felt comfortable around everyone.”
