‘Mere Angne Mein’ fame Charu Asopa recently made headlines when she dropped her husband’s surname from her social media account and fans are speculating if their marriage is in troubled waters.
Charu got married on 7th June last year to Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen in Court marriage followed by grand Hindu wedding in Goa on 16th June, 2019. But now, within a year, their relationship is going through a rough patch and the couple is living separately according to some media reports.
According to a report by ETimes, Rajeev flew back to Delhi following a tiff between the couple and now they are living separately and haven’t talked to each other for a while. In the same row, Charu has dropped her surname on social media, fuelling the rumours of their troubled marriage.

A source close to the couple reported to ETimes, “Charu and Rajeev had serious compatibility issues right from the beginning. Things finally came to a head and Rajeev left for Delhi. The two have not been in touch since then. While Charu has dropped his surname on social media, he has blocked her from all channels of communication.”
Charu didn’t respond on this matter but her hubby Rajeev has said to the same portal, “No comments. I don’t want to talk about it. I am enjoying being in Delhi and am so much at peace.”
Talking about Charu’s past, she was in a romantic relationship with Neeraj Malviya, who played her brother on ‘Mere Angne Mein’, in February 2016. But as soon as fans were hoping to hear the wedding bells, the couple drifted apart and rather their break-up stories filled the air.
