Today, the poet, lyricist and the screenwriter Javed Akhtar celebrates his 77th birthday. Salim – Javed became famous screenwriters with their best work in Border, Lagaan, Zindagi na Milegi Dobara. Moreover, Javed ji is five-time national award winner.

Tum Ko Dekha Toh Ye Khayal

The song was featured in the classic film Saath Saath, starring Parallel cinema stalwarts, Farooq Sheikh and Deepti Naval. The song was sung by two best melodious souls, late Jagjit Singh and his wife, singer Chitra Singh.

Radha Kaise Na Jale

The three- time national award winning soundtrack by composer A. R. Rahman and lyricist Javed Akhtar. It was sung by Asha Bhosle, Udit Narayan and Vaishali Samant.

In Lamho Ke Daman Mein

The song marked as one of the most iconic song for an iconic film, by composer A.R. Rahman used for Ashutosh Gowarikar’s epic period film, Jodha Akbar. The melodious song was sung by Sonu Nigam and Madhushree.

Yun Hi Chala Chal
