On Monday night, Preity Zinta posted images from her children Jai and Gia’s mundan ceremony on Instagram.
Jai and Gia may be seen in the photos playing while seated on a carpeted floor with their backs to the camera. Gia is pictured wearing a light blue outfit, while Jai is pictured wearing a grey T-shirt and turquoise shorts. Preity’s living room appears to be where the photos were taken.
“So the Mundan ceremony finally happened this weekend,” wrote the actress. She explained the significance of the ceremony in her caption.
she added, “For Hindus the first shaving off the hair for babies is considered to be a gesture of purification from the memory of their previous births and freedom from the past. Here are Jai and Gia post their mundan ceremony.”
The actress recently returned to her LA home, after a short stay in India. Sharing a reel of her time in India. Preity had penned that there’s Nothing like being back home after such a long time. She is Still jet lagged but cannot stop smiling at all the pictures from the trip.
