Bobby Deol‘s Aashram: Chapter 2 has received a legal notice from Karni Sena. About to release on 11th November, the web show portrays the story of a corrupt godman.
As per a Mid-Day report, Karni Sena has accused the show’s trailer of “directly targeting ancient culture and hurting religious sentiments”. Earlier, Karni Sena had also objected to the content displayed in the first installment of the franchise ‘Aashram‘. They had objected to the display of some objectionable scenes in the show.
Directed by Prakash Jha, ‘AASHRAM: Chapter 2- The Dark Side’ features actor Bobby Deol as the Godman Kashipur Waale Baba Nirala, who is involved in illegal activities like drug smuggling, gender abuse, etc. The show will release on MX player on 11th November.
