Actress Rimi Sen has sued a motor car company for Rs. 50 crores, as per the reports by Times of India. A notice has been issued against Navnit Motors, Jaguar Land Rover, and Satish Motors by Rimi, who is named Subhamitra Sen in the legal notice.
The notice states that Rimi faced recurring issues with car manufacturers.
The news portal further added that the complaint read, “Around 25th August 2022, the Complainant bumped the said Car into a pillar from the rear end due to the rear end camera not working properly again.” It also mentioned, “the Opposite Party No. 1 has been nothing but ignorant, discourteous and ill-mannered towards the problems of the Complainant.”
The complaint also mentioned that ever since the complainant started driving the said car, the Opposition Party No. 1 has taken the car for the purpose of repair, but has not fully repaired.
Furthermore, TOI reported that the Bollywood actress is “seeking compensation of Rs. 50,00,00,000/- (Rupees Fifty Crores Only) for mental harassment.” The actress is also seeking an additional Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupess Ten Lacs) to cover her legal costs.
TOI reached out to the actress, who was last seen in Bigg Boss 9, she said, “I was absolutely disappointed with the car company and its services.”
