With the success of Gulabo Sitabo, Amazon Prime is now all set to release its next cinematic product- Vidya Balan’s starring as Shakuntala Devi. Indeed a business decision taken by Disney+ Hostar considering the need of the hour will release a total of seven Bollywood movies: Dil Bechara, Laxmmi Bomb, Sadak 2, Bhuj: The Pride Of India, Big Bull, Khuda Hafiz, and Lootcase.

According to a BollywoodHungama report, Netflix has added another movie in their treasure chest- Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare featuring Konkona Sen Sharma and Bhumi Pednekar as the main leads in the movie. As per spotboye, ‘a source close to the development revealed that the team of Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare has been talking to various digital players including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar, and after taking the monetary offers by all OTT platforms under consideration, Netflix has bagged the film’.

The underlying battle between the OTT’S such as Amazon Prime and Netflix is quite intriguing for the audiences worldwide. However, so far both the channels have been extremely successful with the digital streaming of the Bollywood movies. As per the reports, ‘ a lot of key directors and producers in the industry are in talk with such OTT’S for the release of their movies or upcoming documentaries’.
