Ananya Panday made her debut with Punit Malhotra’s Student of the Year 2, and controversies were part of her early career due to a series of flops she delivered. However, Chunky Panday and Bhavana Panday’s daughter also appeared in Gehraiyaan, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, CTRL and a comedy show called Call Me Bae, and has been gaining critical acclamations with all.
Recently, Bhavana openly said that she did not like what Ananya did in Student of the Year 2. Even though she surely saw her daughter grow as an actor, Bhavana admitted that Ananya tried her best but failed to meet expectations in the movie that was backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
In a recent conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Bhavana said, “I think she did everything she could from her side. She gave her best effort. Of course, there are so many factors that matter in a film. Maybe in Student of the Year 2… she was too raw. So I wouldn’t say she didn’t try her best, but perhaps she wasn’t fully aware of what to do.”
Meanwhile, Bhavana is currently enjoying the success of her recently released Fabulous Wives vs Bollywood Wives season 3.
