Shah Rukh Khan was all set to end his two-year schedule of shooting Rajkumar Hirani’s social comedy film about immigration. However, a part of the film was to be shot in Canada. Mid-Day reported that, as the pandemic created worldwide havoc the shooting of Hirani’s film had to shut down temporarily and Khan will soon bounce back in action with Siddharth Anand’s upcoming project.
‘Given the current global crisis, Canadian authorities could not permit Hirani’s team for the shoot”, a source revealed. In the meantime, Shah Rukh Khan might be returning to the big screen with Siddharth’s action- drama movie. After the success of ‘War’, Yash Raj Films are very much keen and are looking forward to the release of the movie. The film will be announced on Yash Chopra’s birthday, and the shoots are expected to start from the month of October. There are rumours going around that Shah Rukh Khan will be reuniting with Deepika Padukone for the movie.
A source also revealed that “Deepika has locked her dates for a YRF film. She will mostly be romancing Shah Rukh Khan in Siddharth Anand’s big actioner. The production house has been in talks with the actress for the film but she is yet to sign on the dotted line. Because of the COVID 19 scare around the country, they are yet to lock in dates for the schedules of the film. Once that is done, the actress will work around her date schedule for the film. Right now, she has just been approached for the film and she has liked the script as well. It’s a powerful role for the female lead as well.”
