Sharon Stone has made a shocking revelation that she was sexually abused by her grandfather in her memoir, “The Beauty of Living Twice.” She reveals that both her sister and herself were molested by their grandfather when they were toddlers. She also talked about how her grandmother used to put them in a room with their grandfather and lock the door.
She recalled the relief she felt when he died. She was 14 and her sister was 11 at the time. Sharon says in her book that she poked him to make sure he was dead. “I poked him, and the bizarre satisfaction that he was at last dead hit me like a ton of ice. I looked at [Kelly] and she understood; she was 11, and it was over,” she reveals.
The Ratched actress also talked about a near-death experience she had in 2001. She was diagnosed with cerebral haemorrhage stroke and doctors thought she wouldn’t make it. She recalls that she bled for nine days straight.
“The room was so silent. When the room is so silent and no one’s running around trying to fix you, that’s when you realize how near death is and how serious everything is. I found out that I wasn’t the only one who’d had this kind of experience. It’s so profound. And I know that scientists feel that it’s a scientific thing that happens. And spiritualists believe that it’s a spiritual thing. I’m with (Albert) Einstein, who believed that it’s both,” she added.
