Bandish Bandit actor Amit Mistry passes away!

Amit Mistry was a well-known artist in the Gujarati film industry, and also did roles in Bollywood. He was also seen last in the popular web series Bandish Bandits, the actor passed away on the morning of 23 April, from cardiac arrest.
Amit Mistry’s television career included Tenali Rama, where he played Birbal,  Ssshhh…Koi Hai, Maddam Sir, and Shubh Mangal Savadhan among others.

The news was confirmed by Mistry’s manager Maharshi Desai.
Desai said, “I am in shock. He was fine and at home. He didn’t even complain of any health issues. After breakfast, he felt an ache in his heart and it was a heart attack. His family couldn’t even take him to the hospital”.
The news was shared by The Indian Film TV Producers Council, on Twitter,
 “Shocking and Deeply Saddening news of one of the talented actor Amit Mistry passing away…Heartfelt condolence to family and friends..RIP.”
Tussar Kapoor who worked with him in Shor in the city also gave his condolences on Amit Mistry’s untimely death.
Tusshar said, “I am really sad to hear about the demise of Amit Mistry. We had worked together briefly in ‘Shor In The City’. May his departed soul rest in peace.”
 People from the television and film industry also poured their condolences for Amit Mistry.
