The latest episode of Dance Deewane is called Grandparents Special. During the special episode, Bharti Singh, the show’s host, warned Suniel about how he would behave as a nana (grandfather), stating that no child could manage such an awesome grandparent.
In response, the actor stated, “Yes, next season, when I come, I will be walking on the stage like a Nana.” Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul got married in 2023. Their traditional South Indian wedding was held at Suniel Shetty’s sprawling Khandala estate.
Athiya is actively involved in brand sponsorships and attending events. KL Rahul plays for the Lucknow Super Giants in the TATA IPL 2024 and also leads the team.
KL Rahul and Athiya routinely share romantic photos of one another on social media. KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty are apparently poised to start a new chapter in their life. The couple is eager to start their parenting journey.
The allegations began with Suniel Shetty’s amusing remarks on Dance Deewane. The most recent episode of the dance reality show was titled ‘Grand Masti with Grandparents.’ Bharti Singh questioned Shetty about how he would act as a nana (grandparent), as he was too cool.
Suniel Shetty revealed during the event that he will be ‘walking like a nana’.

However, the pregnancy rumours are not yet confirmed, as KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty have not posted anything on social media.
Suniel Shetty spoke about his son-in-law, KL Rahul, in an interview with E Times last year. “But when he rises like a phoenix, you feel inspired, and this is what the team’s tough lads are. I’m a proud father. Athiya is blessed, as is Ahaan, because he can learn from him. He is calm, poised, and courteous. I don’t believe I could have asked for a greater son.”
KL and Athiya met through common friends. The couple began dating shortly after meeting and kept their relationship hidden until 2021. Rahul made their love official by sending a sweet birthday wish to his fiancée on Instagram. Athiya and Rahul have decided to take their romance to the next level in 2023, with a traditional South Indian wedding. Suniel Shetty’s huge Khandala estate provided the setting for their minimal wedding.
