Arjun Rampal injures his fingers for dramatic entrance at Netflix event due to technical difficulties

Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh is back with yet another season of Rana Naidu, and this time Arjun Rampal has come onboard to play the role of a menacing villain.

During the star studded event – Next on Netflix – in Mumbai on Monday, Netflix unveiled various projects coming up in 2025, which included the much anticipated announcement featuring the cast of Rana Naidu.

Arjun made a dramatic entrance at the event by breaking through a glass frame. However, as glass shattered, the actor sustained minor injuries to his hands, leading to bleeding. Despite his bleeding fingers, the 52-year-old actor continued with the event, maintaining a smile. Although, he was visibly uncomfortable, Arjun managed to engage with media.

As per the reports, it has been claimed that the glass at the event did not shatter as expected due to technical difficulties. This made Arjun break it with his own hands, resulting in the injury.

Sharing the teaser of Rana Naidu season 2, Netflix wrote, “Ab hogi todfod ki shuruvaat mamu, kyunki ye Rana Naidu ka style hai. Watch Rana Naidu Season 2, coming in 2025, only on Netflix.”

While the release date of upcoming season has not yet been announced, the series is an official adaptation of 2013 American crime drama Ray Donovan.

Rana Naidu season 2 also features Suchitra Pillai, Abhishek Bannerjee, Gaurav Chopra, Surveen Chawla, Ishitta Arun, and Kriti Kharbanda. The first season of the show was released in 2023.
