Actor Arjun Kapoor turns 35 today and the Tevar actor is celebrating his birthday at his home due to the global pandemic. The current situation which is going on in Bollywood, Arjun Kapoor is also related to that situation. These days, Bollywood, our favorite filmi jagat, has become synonymous with the term “nepotism”. The word first burst upon our collective consciousness when Kangana Ranaut accused Karan Johar of being its flag-bearer on his own show, Koffee With Karan. Arjun Kapoor is a product of nepotism in Bollywood. And as once has been said by filmmaker Sudhir Mishra, while nepotism is prevalent in Bollywood, the journey of an actor is not defined by his or her first film — which a famous surname can get you — and so, one should always concentrate on individual effort.
Arjun Kapoor was launched in the year 2012 in ‘Ishaqzaade’ with Yash Raj Films as a producer. Since then the graph of the young actor has been going down, it has been 9 years to his first movie and actor has still not given any high-grossing hit.
Today we will give you a glimpse of actor’s flop movies:-
1. Aurangzeb
This movie was Arjun’s second movie after ‘Ishaqzaade’ with Rishi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Amrita Singh in pivotal roles, the movie still didn’t make a good stand in box office. What went wrong? Too many characters, too little exploration, many loopholes, very little emotional connect. Aurangzeb is a story of potentially epic proportions (and near-epic run time), but it struggles to be coherent and its final conclusion is unable to match the build-up and premise. Lower your expectations when you enter the cinema hall and this Yash Raj Films production may still be worth your time.

2. Finding Fanny
Finding Fanny was about a road trip that Angie (Deepika Padukone), Ferdie (Naseeruddin Shah), Rosie (Dimple Kapadia), Don Pedro (Pankaj Kapur) and Savio (Arjun Kapoor) take with the hope of finding Fanny, the girl that Ferdie had wanted to marry 46 years ago. But nobody knows if she is still alive or dead or just made-up. Finding Fanny was a funny but flop movie.

3. Tevar
The film starred Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee with Arjun Kapoor, since it was a remake of a successful South Indian film, many thought that it would work at the box office. But sadly, it did not. This was Arjun’s first solo flop and the actor also expressed his sadness after the release of the film.

4. Mubarakan
This movie had a big star cast including Anil Kapoor but the movie didn’t do well on the silver screen. The film is the same old comedy of errors that we’ve seen so many times before. The film is unmistakably indulgent and over-long and could’ve done with some serious pruning.

5. Namaste England
Being labeled as a hit couple after their first appearance together on screen in Ishaqzaade, a lot was expected out of Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor’s second venture together. Namaste England, a sequel spin-off of the blockbuster Namaste London takes you on a journey of love from the lanes of Amritsar to the streets of Europe. But the magic of international waters and the chemistry of the lead couple couldn’t help the film to get a blockbuster opening.

6. India’ Most Wanted
This film could have been so much better had they really invested great actors into the project. The crime drama tried to hold your attention despite the odds, given the gravity of the events it chronicles. The audience expected a lot from the director who has already directed ‘No One Killed Jessica’ and ‘Aamir’ but Arjun failed to to engage you fully with the trials and tribulations of his character. He does little to uplift the film that solely works for its story.

7. Panipat
Panipat was a recent flop of Arjun at the box office. The actor also got trolled for his historical role. During the promotional event held in Mumbai, Arjun Kapoor even spoke in length about the trolls and backlash he got for the role of Sadashivrao Bhau. Arjun Kapoor looked completely out of place as Sadashiv Rao Bhau, forget even matching the intensity of the antagonist played by Sanjay Dutt.
