Arjun Kapoor has come a long way in his Bollywood career and has managed to deliver some of the most memorable performances. He was recently seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again as antagonist and received widespread appreciation for it. However, his path to stardom did not come without challenges, as he faced a tough childhood due to his parents’ separation when he was 10.
He shared about his struggle during a recent interview with Raj Shamani, reflecting on how he handled his parents’ separation, and how he felt like it would not have any long lasting impact, but looking back at it, Arjun said that the incident did shape many aspects of his life.
Arjun also shared how his father, Boney Kapoor’s, busy schedule affected his father-son relationship. He recalled his father focusing on two major projects such as Prem and Roop Ki Rani Choro Ka Raja, which left little room for the typical father-son moments like school pickups.
However, he acknowledged that he and his filmmaker father have repaired their relationship over the recent years, and shared that it was strengthened during difficult times, which helped bridge the gap that had existed for years.
