Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor has officially ended his 12-year collaboration with YRF Talent Management. On his 12th anniversary in the film industry, Kapoor opted to leave the agency that helped launch his career with Ishaqzaade in 2012. It was produced by Yash Raj Films. Despite their long-standing connection, Kapoor wanted to explore new possibilities.
A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Both Arjun and YRF parted ways amicably. Arjun wanted to explore newer avenues and, hence, took this decision. He and YRF’s head honcho, Aditya Chopra, continue to hold each other in high regard and will surely collaborate when the right opportunity comes along.”
The separation was peaceful, with both parties professing mutual respect. Arjun Kapoor and Aditya Chopra, the head of YRF, are anticipated to collaborate again when the proper time arises.
In a new chapter in his career, Arjun Kapoor has joined Matrix Talent Management, a famous agency co-founded by Reshma Shetty. The company represents well-known actors such as Shahid Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Alia Bhatt.
Along with this management change, Kapoor has formed a new public relations team to oversee his media strategy and engagements.
Kapoor’s most recent film, The Lady Killer (2023), stars Bhumi Pednekar. His forthcoming films include Singham Again, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, and No Entry 2, in which Kapoor will star alongside Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh in the sequel, which was just revealed by producer Boney Kapoor.
