Since the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, a lot is being discussed about him on social media. Many unknown facts are also coming to the fore, making the case even more complicated. The old debate over nepotism has also been reignited and not just fans but some people from the industry are speaking up to uncover the ugly side of Bollywood. This time, writer Apurva Asrani has pointed out an article that mocked Sushant Singh Rajput’s self-musings. After that, filmmaker Shekhar Kapur has called out the journalist for doing so.
Apurva Asrani shared a screenshot of Sushant Singh Rajput’s tweet in response to a newspaper article that mocked some of the quotes used by Sushant in his Twitter handles which were originally written by Sartre, Joel and Escher.
Asrani wrote, “Sushant Singh Rajput: To cure a sane man is way more difficult than curing ones own insanity. DNA Aftr hrs: Clearly Mr Rajput, tweets like these are making us question your sanity. In 2017, DNA compiled brilliant quotes from SSR & spun them all to make him seem insane. Do read.”

To this, Shekhar Kapur’s replied, “OMG! I never realised this was going on. Each one of those Sushant’s quote is a brilliant introspection of a young mans enquiring mind. I want to take on that dumb f of a journalist who wrote this. Stand up, whoever you are, and try and prove that I am insane now. Reveal urself!”
