Anushka Sharma, a Bollywood actress, and Kriti Sanon are now two of the industry’s most sought-after faces. Each of them has been crossing off accomplishment after accomplishment. While Kriti has been winning hearts with her movie selections and redefining fashion, Anushka made her debut at the famous Cannes Film Festival this year.
And it appears that Anushka and Kriti are real-life instances of the adage ‘Great minds think alike.’ Recently, even though they attended different occasions, they both chose to wear the same attire on the same day.
And it’s reasonable to say that everyone of them wore the clothes with their unique sense of style and individuality.
Anushka made India proud on Friday night as she made her debut at Cannes 2023. When she arrived to the French Riviera wearing a spotless white Richard Quinn gown, everyone’s heart skipped a beat.
Anushka, who wears L’Oréal Paris clothing, strutted down the red carpet in a body-hugging white gown that showed off her curves and had dramatic rose-shaped sleeves..
And just when admirers were swooning about Anushka’s appearance at the Cannes 2023, Kriti showed up at the IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi sporting a similar gown in a different shade.
As she wore the identical Richard Quinn gown in black and finished it with Anushka’s sleek hairstyle, Kriti stole a few breaths. “There’s something about Black & White – pictures and outfits!” she captioned her photos.
Internet users were divided on who pulled it off better after seeing the obvious similarities between the two ensembles and the general appearance of both ladies.
However, Anushka has taken a break from acting for the past several years, but she will make a comeback in her forthcoming movie, ‘Chakda Xpress.’ While the exact release date is yet unknown, the movie will be her first to be available on demand, and it will stream exclusively on Netflix. Anushka will make her acting debut as a cricketer in “Chakda Xpress,” taking on the role of Team India fast bowler Jhulan Goswami.
Kriti, on the other hand, is overloaded with work, the first of which is the upcoming film ‘Adipurush.’ The actress will play Goddess Sita in the movie, a reimagining of the classic Ramayana. It will hit cinemas on June 16 and features Prabhas as Lord Ram and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana.
In addition, she has roles in ‘The Crew’ with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu, ‘Ganapath’ with Tiger Shroff, and a movie with Shahid Kapoor, directed by Anurag Kashyap that has not yet been given a title.
