On Saturday Evening, actress Payal Ghosh accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual assault on Twitter. She has spoken about this incident in an interview with ABN Telugu, where she said that the filmmaker opened his zip and tried to force himself on her saying that it is okay. She has requested the PM of India and PMO to take strict action against Kashyap.

Following this tweet, the Chairperson of NCW has asked her for a detailed complaint and have said to look in the matter. Kangana Ranaut, who has been in a war with Anurag Kashyap over Twitter, stepped in to support Payal Ghosh via a tweet which read, “Every voice matters. #MeToo #ArrestAnuragKashyap”

The Filmmaker has finally reacted to this allegation from Payal Ghosh, via a series of tweets in Hindi. His tweets read, “What happened, you took a long time to attempt to silence me. No problem. In an attempt to silence me, you lied so much that you dragged other women in it, being a woman yourself. You should have had some respect, madam! I will only say that all the allegations levelled against me are baseless. Also, while putting allegations at me, dragging other actresses and the Bachchan family was a bad move. Yes, Madam, I have been married twice. If that is a crime, then I accept it. I have loved my wives a lot, whether it was my first wife or the second.”

In the latter part of the Tweets, he has spoken about how he has never indulged in any such actions nor he encourages them, whether he met them in public or in an isolated area. His tweet read, “Be it any lover or any actresses I have worked with, or girls who work in my team, or be it any woman I met in isolation or in public, I have never indulged in any inappropriate activity with them nor do I encourage it. Rest whatever happens, I will see. The truth of the matter is clearly visible in your video, rest I only have love and prayers for you. I am sorry for replying to your English text in Hindi.”
