Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha has recently posted a picture with his ageing father, Prem Govind Sinha. He wrote that he couldn’t cuddle with him as his younger brother, Anupam Sinha does. The filmmaker wrote a long, emotional and relatable post about a father-son relationship.
He shared an adorable picture with his father and wrote, “Somehow I can never cuddle dad like that. Anupam does and I feel jealous. When we were growing up there used to be this strange physical distance from fathers. Anupam somehow managed to break it I couldn’t. @anupamsinhas”
Actress Archana Puran Singh found the post totally relatable and shared her relationship with her Dad. She commented, “It’s an old fashioned dad thing.💛 I felt the same… till many years later… as he grew older I was able to hug him. But just about. Wish I’d hugged him more often. He’s no more. And that opportunity has gone forever. ♥️”
A fan also shared a similar experience and wrote, “I can totally understand what you are saying. Even though I love my dad there remains a distance emotionally which I can’t seem to overcome. My sister is really close to my father. Me and dad are very stubborn we tend to argue more. I resemble my dad more. I try to overcome the barrier but end up making both of us uncomfortable. Even if we don’t say the words we still love each other.”
The entire comment section was filled with such emotional experiences. Celebrities like Aparshakti Khurana, Pratik Gandhi, Shamita Shetty, Aamir Ali, and many other commented heart emojis.
On the work front, Anubhav Sinha has directed films like Tathastu, Ra. One, Zid, Smile Please, Mulk, Article 15, and many others. His recent movie was ‘Thappad’, starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. The film was critically acclaimed for its content and brilliant execution.
