Anita Hassanandani might not be in Naagin 5?

Naagin actress Anita Hassanandani returned to the sets of TV show Naagin on Tuesday to finish the shoot of the fourth season. The actress was petrified to join back work so soon, expressed her concern.

“My husband was really scared of sending me back to work. But once I was back, I felt safe with all the precautions being taken. On Ekta’s (Kapoor) set, the actor’s well-being is always top priority,” explains the actress in an interview with Mumbai Mirror. Elaborating on the safety measures being taken in these challenging times at Chandivali studio, Anita reveals that the production team has installed sanitisers everywhere, and even chairs and jewellery used in the shoot are being sanitised frequently. Masks and gloves are compulsory for everyone at all times.

Adding on the actress also shared that the crew for the show has been reduced.“I don’t have to do much, just make sure I keep sanitising my hands often and wash them whenever I go into the vanity van. I am also careful not to touch my face much. Everyone’s safety is more important right now than how the show looks,” she said.

The shoot is almost complete and only a few episodes are left for Naagin 4. Earlier, Ekta has promised and announced for a bigger season five of the show. While talking about her plans for season five, Anita said, “I’m fortunate to have been a part of two seasons and would love to be in the next one, too. But I think my character has exhausted her run. I am content with my two seconds of fame.” The production of season four is expected to be completed in 45 days.

Discussing future projects, the actress revealed that the lockdown has delayed everything for her. Anita said, “I got offers for some outside shoots, but right now I am not ready to travel. I am still a little paranoid. Hopefully, I’ll have clarity about my projects by then.” Anita also revealed that she has reunited with former co-star Tusshar Kapoor, just before the lockdown for a film for Ekta’s production house.
