On Thursday, Twinkle Khanna joked about not casting Akshay Kumar in her next production after he forgot to tag her in a tweet on PadMan. The film, which won a National Award in 2019, marked her raid into film production.

While Akshay immediately issued an apology, actor Anil Kapoor replied to their Twitter banter, saying in jest that he and Rajkummar Rao could be a part of her next production. He also shared an ‘audition tape’, which was shot as a promotional video for PadMan.

Anil wrote on his Twitter, “Maybe @RajkummarRao & I could be a part of your next production @mrsfunnybones. P.S Our audition tape is attached below!”

This further increased the hilarity of the whole banter, leaving fans in splits. Rajkummar too loved Anil’s witty reaction and expressed his support with thumbs up and heart emojis. Meanwhile, the video seems to be from the time when Anil, Raj, and Sonam Kapoor were filming their 2019 movie ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ and many celebrities were supporting Akshay’s Padman by taking up the challenge of holding up sanitary napkins without any inhibitions. The video was probably shot to promote the same and is now being used by Anil as his audition tape.

On the work front, Anil was last seen in ‘Malang’ and will next feature in ‘Mumbai Saga’. In Malang, Anil was accompanied by Aditya Roy Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Disha Patani and others. On the other hand, Rajkummar was last seen in ‘Made In China’ with Mouni Roy and will soon feature in the horror-comedy ‘Roohi Afzana’ along with Janhvi Kapoor.
