Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant got married in July this year and we witnessed a whole lot of celebrities – ranging from Bollywood to Hollywood, political world to business world. The wedding, which was attended by slew of stars, often ignited speculations if they were all paid for the attendance.
Ananya Panday also recently spoke a bit about her experience of attending Anant and Radhika’s, what could be described as, ‘wedding of the century’ that took place in July this year. Responding to the controversies that often claimed that celebrities were paid to grace the high-profile Ambani wedding, the actress rubbished those rumors and clarified that she attended because she is friends with the couple.
In an interview with Mashable India, Ananya was asked about her energetic dancing at Anant’s baraat. To which she said, “They are my friends. I don’t understand why people think like this, Obviously, I’ll dance wholeheartedly at my friends’ wedding. I love celebrating love.”
The actress also spoke about the chemistry she noticed between Anant and Radhika – she said that this is pure love. She said “One big takeaway from the wedding was that so much was happening, but whenever Anant and Radhika would look at each other, it was just pure love.” Ananya continued that that is one thing she wants for herself.
