Vivah actress, Amrita Rao, talks about motherhood and balancing family life with work-life during her son’s first year birthday.
Announcing her first pregnancy with her husband RJ Anmol, she took over her fans with this pleasant news. Last year the couple welcomed their little boy with utmost happiness and it’s already his first birthday.
Amrita Rao shares an Instagram post of the couple with their son veer, in a picture on her son’s birthday.She opens up about her schedule colliding during this period of motherhood. She says,” I haven’t got an 8 hours stretch of sleep from the past 18 months”. Due to her newborn and managing her work schedule at the same time, she talks about how her time isn’t here anymore and has to be given to her baby boy, veer. She wakes up to make veers food , then the families and the whole day goes onto work and later, just family time. She adds how her husband has always been with her side by side sharing the parental duties.
As her son turns one, “and the mommy in me turns one as well” she adds, the family plan to celebrate the togetherness at home with only close family members, owning to the pandemic. “A beautiful animal-themed cake has been ordered for him, decorated the house with balloons ” The couple then shares their gift to Veer will be a contribution on his behalf to a non-profit organization for cataract surgeries for children and senior citizens.
“Motherhood is about surprising yourself with the strength you never knew you had”Amrita Rao chats to the Bombay Times. The motherhood feeling is entirely different and extremely empowering.
