After the news broke out, Malaika’s test reports went viral on the internet and to this sister Amrita Arora lost her calm and slamed those who are circulating the documents. She took to her Instagram to post multiple message addressing this issue, “Price of being a celebrity? New normal? In sickness but not in health? Is it ok? My sister’s results have been posted on various WhatsApp groups, Facebook and other mediums! While she was hoping and praying for a negative test and was also preparing herself to get better this was what one has to deal with? How is this ok?????????? What has happened to us humans and sad state of affair?”

Amrita further wrote, “Was posting her results any use to anyone???????? She is a responsible citizen who would have declared it anyway! What’s the perverse pleasure of making it a discussion and guessing how and when she got it, some going to the extent of saying she deserves it with laughing emojis! Why why why!!”

She even wondered how her sister’s reports got viral and wrote, “The question is how did her report got viral in 1st place… How was it ok to disregard a document/ patient confidentiality. Let’s just respect to what is happening in the world today and stop this ridiculous naming and shaming syndrome! STOP!”
