The years went by and the actor Ammy Virk was being appreciated for his acting talent and he is not ignorant of this fame. Despite that, the actor has stated clearly that while he will not be endorsing pan masala in any circumstance – even if the latest schemes offered to him are lucrative. In the recent past he has come out clean about his stand regarding his decision that he will not exploit this channel for profit making, that he will refrain from using it for evil doings, and therefore if the opportunity is tendered to him, he will decline it politely.
Several months ago, he had stated thus in a write-up that he will not do a paan masala ad for the sake of selling or receive accolades. The actor continued not ruling any channel but saying, “I want good characters or roles to come to me, and that matters the most. I know I might get good money for it, but I’m here in the industry because of my turban. If it wasn’t for my turban, I wouldn’t be here. Being a Sardar is the reason I’m here, and wearing this, I would never do anything that would hurt the sentiments of my audience.”
On the film front, the actor was last seen in ‘Khel Khel Mein’ which hit the theatres on August 15. The movie also features Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, and Fardeen Khan.
