Big B is known for his deep and powerful voice. His audience loves him for the way he says his dialogues and he has acted as a narrator for many great movies.
Due to his recognizable voice the Government of India decided to use his voice for a COVID-19 awareness caller tune. But recently a PIL was filed asking to for the removal of his voice from the caller tune. The plea states that the government is paying a fees to Amitabh Bachchan for this service but there are many social workers who are working day and night and are willing to give their services for free.
The plea came before a bench of Chief Justice D N Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh by the petitioner. After the hearing, the bench said that with the removal of the actor’s voice from the caller tune, the plea has become unnecessary and disposed of the petition as not pressed, seeking directions to the central government to remove Big B’s voice from the caller tune on precautions against coronavirus.
On the work front Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in ‘Brahmastra’ co-staring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
