Now, you might get guided by Shehanshah himself. Amitabh Bachchan could soon be helping us navigate directions on Google Maps. Reportedly, Big B has been approached by Google Maps for voice navigation.
According to a report by Mid Day, the Indian team of Google Maps has approached the legendary actor for lending his voice in Google maps. Big B is also tipped to record his voice from his home as per several media reports.
A source told the publication, “Amitabh Bachchan has the most influential and recognisable baritone. Hence, he is the best choice for the voice of Google Maps. He has been approached, but the contract has not been signed yet.” If all gets going then in the near future, Amitabh can replace New York-based entertainer Karen Jacobsen, whose voice is used in the previous editions of Google Maps.
