Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is an ardent social media user. The actor recently took to his social media handle to share a collage of his pictures from different movies as he completed FIVE decades in the industry.
In the post we can see his looks from various movies such as Shahenshah, Paa, Baghban, Sarkar Raj, Bbuddah… Hoga Terra Baap, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, Gulabo Sitabo, etc. He captioned it as, “52 years .. !!! Bachchan was initially seen struggling, “failed newcomer”, by the age of 30, had twelve flops and only two hits. At the time, Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar’s Zanjeer was rejected by a number of actors, owing to it going against the “romantic hero” image dominant in the industry at the time. Soon, Salim-Javed discovered Bachchan and “saw his talent, which most makers didn’t. The rest is history, you see.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Big B has some interesting projects in the pipeline. A few days back, he was roped in for the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film ‘The Intern’ opposite Deepika Padukone. Big B is also a part of Ajay Devgn’s ‘Mayday’. He was last seen in Gulabo Sitabo which released on Amazon Prime Video last year, due to the shutting down of cinema halls on the aftermath of the spread of the coronavirus.
