Amitabh Bachchan says, “couldn’t stop my tears” after Aishwarya Bachchan and Aaradhya discharged from hospital

On Monday night, the Bollywood legend Mr. Amitabh Bachchan took on his Twitter handle to express his joy and a sigh of relief, about his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and his granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan being discharged from Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai in the day time, after being tested negative for COVID-19.


The Bollywood icon tweeted, ” Apni chhoti bitiya aur bahurani ko aspatal se mukti milne par, main rok na paaya apne aansoo. Prabhu teri kripa apaar, aprampaar (could not hold back my tears at the news that my little grand-daughter and daughter-in-law have been discharged from hospital. O lord, thy mercy is infinite).”

Earlier, in the day time, his son Abhishek Bachchan had tweeted about his wife’s and daughter’s recovery. He confirmed on the Twitter that, Aishwarya and Aaradhya are safe, and are discharged from the hospital after their test results for COVID turned out to be negative.

In the tweet, Abhishek said, “Thank you all for your continued prayers and good wishes. Indebted forever. Aishwarya and Aaradhya have thankfully tested negative and have been discharged from the hospital.” He further added, “They will now be at home. My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff”

However, Big B and his son Abhishek are still in the hospital battling with the Corona virus. On the other hand, Jaya Bachchan had tested negative for COVID-19.
