Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan who often shares some inspirational words by his father and legendary poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, recently shared one of his father’s poems on to spread a message of hope and also remind everyone to turn on the light during dark times. The actor translated the verses of the poem ‘Hai Andheri Raat’, to help in spreading its message to all fans.
“Yes the night is dark & deep, but when was it not permitted to light a small lamp! When the dreamed home you built with affection & love, was drowned in destruction, when was it not permitted to pick up little bricks & stones to rebuild a small peaceful hut again…” He tweeted with a photo of the poem.

It wasn’t too long ago that the actor shared another post of himself reading out one of his father’s greatest works to help spread positivity among his fans. The actor also shared two pictures with a poem from his father last week on his Instagram page. One of the pictures had his cartoon caricature sitting on a chair in his signature style while the other is a close-up look of the star. While captioning the post, the Piku actor who is missing his father’s presence, shared his thoughts on stardom. The actor penned the thoughts of his father in the caption which reads that he is happy with the prayers of his fans and followers. He also wrote that he is not fond of being famous, people recognize him is what keeps him happy and content.
Meanwhile, with the Bollywood film industry now ready to get the cameras rolling again, Big B can expect his film ‘Brahmastra’ with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to go back on track and even possibly meet its December 2020 release date.
