This has specifically brought to the fans’ attention one incident that had occurred involving this reputable outfit over the years. This particular project involved initiation by the actor who once pledged to build a college but was reportedly dropped.

In 2008 month of October, Amitabh Bachchan inaugurated the foundation stone for the long-awaited degree college in the Uttar Pradesh village Daulatpur in Barabanki for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, his newlywed daughter in law. Also, on the occasion of the function, Mulayam Singh Yadav and the other Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh were also present there.
For the upper-secondary students it was renamed as Aishwarya Bachchan Girls’ Inter College in 2012. Big B gave Rs. 5 lakhs to ABSS so that they could construct the building as planned. When it comes to the passing of time, I read that Amitabh Bachchan handed over responsibility of building this college to Nishtha Foundation that is spearheaded by Jaya Bachchan. Some sites on the internet disclose that the Nishtha Foundation, as per certain accusations, never built the college and later faulted Amitabh Bachchan’s Seva Sansthan for it.
Due to no avail for more than ten years waiting for the existence of the project, one father of a village teacher offered the plot of the land for the construction of the college and the people of Daulatpur also gathered the amount for constructing a college near the Amitabh Bachchan college plot. It is still unclear why Big B quit the project and, therefore, the cause for its failure will remain undetermined.
