The actor had treatment for peripheral cardiac disease, not coronary heart disease, according to News 18. “An angioplasty was performed on a clot in his leg, not on his heart,” the insider continued.

But Amitabh is not in the hospital, according to a report by India.Com claims that the rumours that he is having surgery are “baseless.” The source claimed, “Bachchan has been doing well and is at his home in Jalsa as we update our readers about his health. He is feeling absolutely fine and has not experienced any issues whatsoever.”

The family is yet to confirm the news.

On the work front, Amitabh will be seen next in Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
