In the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024, Salman Khan went to the polling booth that he was assigned to, in Mumbai, to cast his vote and he went about it under heavy security. He pulled up in his car and got out and walked to the booth.
Several videos circulating social media showed the superstar being surrounded by bouncers as he made his way to the polling station. He kept it casual for his outing in grey t-shirt, black jeans, and black cap.
In one of the videos making rounds online, Salman was seen greeting his fans with flying kisses.
There has been a massive turnout of voters from Bollywood. Famous Bollywood actors and actresses including Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday, Kiara Advani and many others also exercised their franchise throughout the day.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Salman will be next seen in AR Murugadoss directorial Sikander. The actor is currently lodged in Hyderabad for the shooting his upcoming action thriller. He will be seen opposite Rashmika Mandanna. As per the latest reports, Salman and Rashmika has grooved to two songs from the movie, one of which is based on Eid theme, while another is based on Holi.
The movie has been scheduled to hit the theatres on Eid 2025, and the makers are on target to wrap up shooting by January 2025.
