Amidst CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise, netizens have taken to Twitter and are now demanding a CBI probe in Sridevi’s death as well. On February 25th ’18 Sridevi was found dead in a bathtub in her hotel room in Dubai. There were several conspiracy theories brewing around her death at that time.
But, after Dubai officials probe and the forensic report that ruled out any foul play, it was stated that she died of accidental drowning. However, there were a few like BJP MP Subramanian Swamy who alleged that it was a murder.
Years later, netizens are now demanding CBI probe in Sridevi’s demise . The hashtag #CBIEnquiryForSridevi has been trending on Twitter since last night.
A few users had their own conspiracy theory like, “#CBIEnquiryForSridevi According to a news agency, Singh’s lawyer senior advocate Vikas Singh argued before the court that an insurance policy worth Rs 240 crore in was brought in Sridevi’s name in Oman and could be encashed only if the actor died in Dubai.” and “Every one knows that sridevi was murdered by drowning in bath tub. How will one drown in bath tub 2 feet deep even if they are drunk. High level murders cannot be brought under light. #CBIEnquiryForSridevi”.
