The Telugu cinema industry and fans can’t stop screaming and celebrating Pushpa star Allu Arjun’s huge pride, following his National Award win for Best star for Pushpa: The Rise.
The 41-year-old actor was greeted with tremendous ovation from actors and professionals from across the regional cinema industries as he stepped up to the dais to accept his award in the presence of Hon. President Droupadi Murmu and Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur.
Proud wife Allu Sneha Reddy took to her Instagram to share her elation over her spouse’s big win. Sharing candid moments of her pinning the brooch on Arjun’s bandhgala to them walking down the corridors of the Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, Sneha shared, “A special day, a momentous memory! Your commitment to your work has always been a delight to watch! Etched with love and admiration.”
Meanwhile, after his award ceremony, Arjun rushed to Instagram to repost the flood of congratulatory messages he had gotten throughout the day. From actresses Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Rana Daggubati, and Shriya Saran to filmmakers Atlee and Gunasekhar, the buzz in the Telugu cinema industry is palpable.
Arjun is presently filming Pushpa: The Rule, the long-awaited sequel to Pushpa: The Rise. The picture, which is set to be released on Independence Day weekend in 2024, will feature several of the original cast members, including Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna.
